Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable oil-in-water type emulsifier that is useful for skin cosmetics.SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type emulsion composition is obtained by denaturing a water swelling clay mineral with a polyglyceryl fatty acid ester having HLB of 3.5 to 16, and emulsifying with water and an oily component selected from a carbon-based oily component having IOB value of 0.35 or less and being liquid at 25°C, and a silicone oil. In the composition, the denatured component is intercalated between the layers, and it is suitable for a skin cosmetic.SELECTED DRAWING: None
