Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dendrimer bound nitrogen-containing heterocyclic carbene-gold complex having high catalytic activity in, e.g., addition reaction to a multiple bond.SOLUTION: A dendrimer bound nitrogen-containing heterocyclic carbene-gold complex is represented by the general formula (I) specified in the figure, where L is a halide ion, a trifluoromethanesulfonic acid ion, a perchlorate ion, a tetrafluoroborate ion, a hexafluorophosphate ion, a hexafluoroantimonate ion, or the like, and G is an alkoxy substituted phenylmethyl group.
