Abstract:

To provide a dental casting alloy containing 40% of Au and Ag in total as a base alloy, the alloy enabling the occurrence of cavities to be suppressed even when not containing Zn and enabling a degradation in the mechanical characteristics of a prosthesis material to be prevented, particularly, a dental casting alloy capable of remarkably exhibiting the above actions even if repeated casting is performed.

The dental casting alloy contains 40%, by mass, of Au and Ag in total. The alloy does not contain Zn, but contains 10% (not including 0%) of Ga.
