To enable a patient to receive treatment in a relaxed mental condition without straining his nerves so that slippers do not fall off when a chair is brought down by getting on a dental treatment chair after naturally taking off the slippers.

A dental chair 10 is provided with a head stabilizing stand 11, a back rest 12, a contour seat 13, a leg rest 14, a foot rest 15 or the like, and can be put in a rising-up condition (a gargling position) and a falling-down condition (a treatment position). A carpet-like mat 20 having an antibacterial- deodorant effect is installed on the foot rest 15 so as to be freely mountable- demountable, and a patient gets on this foot rest 15 after taking off slippers.
