Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a chemical polymerization catalyst for dental use that has high chemical stability and can be easily handled, has high activity and does not easily suffer from obstruction to polymerization and that produces a cured product free from initial coloring and discoloring, and obtain a dental curable composition using the chemical polymerization catalyst that can be used as a dental adhesive, a dental restorative material, or the like. SOLUTION: This chemical polymerization catalyst for dental use comprises an acidic compound, an organic peroxide such as cumene hydroperoxide, and an aryl borate compound such as sodium tetraphenylboron. The dental curable composition comprises the chemical polymerization catalyst for dental use.
