In this dental curable composition containing a polymerizable monomer (A), a photopolymerization initiator (B), and inorganic particles (C) having an average particle size exceeding 70 nm, concerning transparency ΔL shown by formula (1), a difference (ΔL before curing-ΔL after curing) between transparency before curing (ΔL before curing) of the composition and transparency after curing (ΔL after curing) of the composition is ≥10: ΔL=L*W-L*B (1). (In the formula, L*W shows a lightness index L* in the L*a*b* color system measured with a white background, and L*B shows a lightness index L* in the L*a*b* color system measured with a black background).
