To make it possible to reduce a cost of a dental examination and to easily execute a remote dental examination even in an underpopulated area, a working field or the like.

The inside of an examinee's oral cavity is photographed by a digital camera 1 as a color picture and the picture and an examinee's medical examination questionnaire are transmitted from a personal computer to an agent 4 through an interconnection network(ICN) 3. The agent 4 prepares a medical examination data base 8 for an electronic medical sheet in a server 6 based on the examinee's oral cavity photographic picture and the questionnaire. Then a previously contracted dentist accesses the data base 8 from his (or her) own personal computer 9 through the ICN 3, reads out the examinee's electronic medical sheet, executes dental examination while observing the oral cavity photographic picture and the questionnaire result, completes the electronic medical sheet, and stores the medical sheet in the data base 8. The agent 4 transmits the completed electronic medical sheet to the examinee 10 through the ICN 3 or mails the sheet.
