Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive and lightweight dental furnace which can satisfy requirements for a baking furnace by coupling a plastic outer casing to an inner casing in a cantilever-like manner through the intermediary of a holding web, and by forming a side wall of the outer casing in a petri dish- like shape.
CONSTITUTION: An outer casing 1 is composed of a front wall 2, a rear wall 3, two side walls 4 and an upper cover 5 each of which is formed into a plastic member having a petri dish-like shape. The front wall 2 is defined therein with an opening 6 for entrance into an inner chamber 7 from a furnace chamber casing 8 in a furnace 9, and the opening 6 is opened and closed by a furnace door 10. Further, the rear wall 3 is formed therein with a pipe-like support member 29 at the center thereof, and a fan 32 is arranged thereon. Meanwhile, an inner casing 15 serving as a support member for a dental furnace, is formed from a U-like bent thin panel 16, and is formed in its two parts in which their leg part are foe, with a front wall 17 having a furnace opening 18, and a rear wall 19 having a circular opening 20, the front and rear walls 17, 19 being coupled together by an intermediate thin panel 22 to which a conductor plate 23 is secured.
