To provide a dental headrest which can be fit for a patient's head without troubling an operator or causing pain to the patient.

This dental headrest comprises a headrest body 20, and a headrest retainer member 30 which is arranged at the rear of the headrest 20 so as to support the headrest body 20. The inside of the headrest body 20 is filled with compressed air, and at least its front is formed of a flexible member. The head rest becomes a state as shown in Fig. 1 (A) or a state as shown in Fig. 1 (B), depending on a load distribution when the patient K places his/her head on the headrest, and automatically fitted to the patient's head depending on the attitude of the patient K.
