The dental instrument holder comprises: a holder main body 31 composed of a rotary shaft 311 attached so as to be inserted to a hole 11 formed on a table 1 to be used by a dentist or an assistant and rotated in a horizontal direction and an instrument receiver 313 attached so as to be rotated to a holder arm 312 attached to the rotary shaft, for supporting the rear end part of the instrument 2 so as to surround it; and an attachment 32 freely detachably attached to the holder main body for supporting the middle part of the instrument together with the holder main body.
