Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a modified moldable dental material composition that can form and repair dental restorations with accurate and reproducible coloration. CONSTITUTION: This moldable dental composition includes high-fusing temperature metal particles having a fusing temperature exceeding the previously selected heat treatment temperature; low-fusing temperature metal particles having a fusing temperature lower than the previously selected heat treatment temperature; finely pulverized carbon particles in a concentration higher than 0.005 wt.% based on the dental material; and a volatile binder. When this dental composition is heat-treated at the previously selected heat treatment temperature, a porous metal structure is formed that has a fine network spaces.
