PURPOSE: To facilitate handling and shorten the time for treatment by forming the dental matrix band in such a manner that the band is a long-sized band having the width, length and flexibility to coat the teeth so as to enclose the side peripheral surfaces thereof and that the surface in contact with the teeth is coated with an adhesive.

CONSTITUTION: This band 1 is the long-sized band having the width, length and flexibility to coat the teeth so as to enclose the side peripheral surfaces thereof and is flat on both sides. The band is made of a composite resin which is an assemblage of resin parts and filler parts as a blank. The material of the resin parts is biphenol glycidal methacrylate and the material of the filler parts is powder of inorg. fillers of quartz, quartz multi component oxide, etc. The surface of the band 1 in contact with the teeth is previously coated with the adhesive 2 over the entire surface and the adhesion viscosity thereof is adjusted to the extent that an adhesive state is maintained before the packing material to be packed into the defect part of the teeth cures. A sheet for preventing adhesion which is easily peelable is stuck to the surface of the adhesive 2, by which the unnecessary adhesion of the band is prevented.
