To provide a simple-structure, strong, low-cost, and sanitary dental measurement device allowing the reduction of size, allowing easy detachment of a portion in contact with a patient to allow sterilization or disposable, and not needing a control circuit or the like for controlling an optical scanner or the like.
A dental measurement device includes: a probe 2 storing a lens and an optical fiber, brought into contact with or brought close to an object, irradiating measurement light of OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) from the surface to the depth direction, and receiving reflected light; and a body 3 including an interference signal acquisition means acquiring an interference signal by the OCT. A notice means 3a of information obtainable from an intensity distribution of the interference signal is equipped in the probe 2 or the body 3, so that the dental measurement device can measure a distance from the surface of remaining tooth enamel after cutting to dentin, a distance from remaining dentin to dental pulp, and a distance from the surface of gum to an alveolar bone, or the like.
