The household dental prophylaxis and air appliance have a compressed air supply 16, a pneumatic or mechanical switching device for opening and shutting the air supply, a hand piece 12, and a pressurized reservoir 14 for drying or wetting grinding and a mixture of a non-grinding component. Compressed air is sent out to the hand piece by a line to weigh and pour slurry, the mixed water of the grinding or non-grinding component.
