Abstract:

To provide a dental prosthesis attachment having a stable non- magnetic area and exhibiting excellent magnetic attraction.

A dental prosthesis attachment is constructed of a magnet body 11, a yoke 12 provided with a recess 125 housing the magnet body 11 and formed of a soft magnetic material, a shield disc 15 arranged in a recess opening part 19 in the yoke 12 for sealing the magnet body 11 and formed of a soft magnetic material, and a ring-shaped non-magnetic modified member 18 arranged between the outer circumference part of the shield disc and the inner circumference part of the yoke and formed of a material prepared by fusing a soft magnetic material, Ni, and austenite stainless steel together. The yoke 12, the ring-shaped non-magnetic modified member 18 and a keeper 10 side disc end face 13 formed of the soft magnetic shield disc 15 are machined by grinding.
