To provide a dental restorative material that has sufficient strengths as a fiber-reinforced resin material for dental restoration and excellent workability in restoration, and an artificial tooth using the material.
The dental restorative material is the fiber-reinforced resin material that is obtained by impregnating glass fibers with a resin to be cured by light and/or heat in which the glass fibers have 18-50μm filament diameter. The volume content of the glass fibers in the dental restorative material is preferably 50-65%. The dental restorative material is preferably used in a retainer and coupling device of bridge, retainer construction, crown, maintainer and connector of a partial plate denture and a material for tooth fixation. For example, a reinforcing material formed by the dental restorative material 20 provides an artificial tooth 10 to be embedded in or laid in a resin denture base 11.
