Abstract:
The invention relates to a dental treatment chair (10) having a column-type base (2), a seat (11) that is arranged to the side of the base (2) and that can be height-adjusted in relation to said base between a base position and a highest position, a drive (20) that is used for adjusting the height of the seat (11) and that is situated in the base and a transmission mechanism that couples the seat (11) to the drive (20), said mechanism comprising a vertically displaceable support arm (30, 40) on which the seat (11) is fixed to the end facing away from said drive (20). The support arm (30, 40) is tilted such that the points at which the support arm (30, 40) engages with the drive (20) and the seat (11) have a different vertical position.
