To save time and labor of a doctor to be needed to change the setting of a dental treatment unit (including a treatment chair and instruments) for every patient, by using an IC card as a patient's consultation ticket, on which his/her own use conditions of the treatment chair or the instruments are stored, so that the setting of the dental treatment unit can be automatically made.

This dental treatment system comprises an IC consultation card 10, an IC consultation card reader 20 which reads the IC consultation card 10, a dental treatment unit 30 which is to be set according to the data read by the IC card reader 20, and others. The IC consultation card 10 stores the use conditions on the position of a treatment chair 31, as well as instruments 32 to be used, which have been differently set depending on each patient. After these data on the IC consultation card 10 are read by the card reader 20, the use conditions including the position of the treatment chair 31, the instruments 32 to be used, and others are automatically set prior to each treatment.
