Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental unit capable of dramatically improving the unstable treating posture of a dentist and allowing the dentist to treat a certain stable treated region in a certain stable treating posture and to treat the treated region utilizing the senses and capacity a human being originally has to the maximum.
SOLUTION: The dental unit consists of a dental treatment chair disposed near a dental chair, an intraoral camera with a hydrophilic cover on the surface of a lens of the camera, a first monitor set at a position where the monitor can be seen by a dentist seated on the dental treatment chair, a patient on the dental chair and a dental assistant, allowing the dentist to perform the image conversion by inverting the image up/down or left/right, and a recording device for recording an image taken by the intraoral camera.
