Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit for a dental air turbine capable of reducing the size of a rolling bearing and having high moment rigidity of a rotational shaft, and a dental air turbine.SOLUTION: A dental air turbine 10 includes a turbine blade 12, a rotational shaft 11 fixed integrally with the turbine blade 12, and a pair of rolling bearings 13, 14 rotatably supporting the rotational shaft 11 to a housing 15. The pair of rolling bearings 13, 14 is an angular ball bearing, and in the pair of rolling bearings 13, 14, each of inner rings 23, 24 is fitted to the rotational shaft 11 so as to impart preload, and is arranged in a back surface combination manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
