Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental implant and its abutment in which an occlusal contact point is applied on the shaft of a fixture, and thereby a risk of breaking an artificial crown crowned on the abutment and such a risk as an artificial dental root buried to a jawbone is fluctuated and comes off from the jawbone can be reduced regardless of a material of the artificial crown itself.SOLUTION: A dental implant is characterized in that an abutment being set up in a fixture (artificial dental root) is exposed from an occlusal surface of an artificial crown being crowned in the abutment in a position serving as an occlusal contact point with the pairing tooth, and thereby the occlusal pressure can be received on the shaft of the fixture using the tip of the exposed abutment as the occlusal contact point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
