Abstract:
To provide a denture base formation method and system for securing preferable maintenance force and supporting force of a roofless denture to be mounted on an upper jaw.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for forming a roofless denture including a denture base to be brought into contact with an undersurface of a gingiva of an upper jaw, the denture base formation method including: a denture base formation step of forming a denture base on which the gingiva's impression is formed using a collected impression material; a first imaging step of performing computer tomography on a jaw bone and the gingiva of the upper jaw; a thickness acquisition step of acquiring the gingiva's thickness from shapes of surfaces of the jaw bone and the gingiva, on the basis of a computer tomographic picture imaged at the first imaging step; and a first beading formation step of on the basis of the gingiva's thickness acquired at the thickness acquisition step, forming a beading on an inner side base part, which is to be brought into contact with the gingiva's inner side surface, of the denture base formed at the denture base formation step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
