To provide a cellulose fiber woven or knitted fabric that has a high durability in domestic washing and deodorant properties for both a basic odor such as an ammonia odor and a lower fatty acid-based odor such as acetic acid or isovaleric acid without impairing a feeling of the fabric.
A deodorant cellulose fiber woven or knitted fabric includes 5-50 mass% of cellulose fibers obtained by graft polymerization of carboxylic acid-based vinyl monomers at a graft ratio of 15-45% and includes 300-7000 mg/kg of an alkali metal and/or a divalent metal. Further, the ratio (B/A), that is, an absorbance B of an absorption peak derived from a carboxylic acid metal salt to an absorbance A of an absorption peak derived from a carboxylic acid in an infrared-ray spectroscopic spectrum is 0.01-0.3.
