To provide a stationary deodorant excellent in an odor eliminating performance, capable of efficiently absorbing bad odor components in a room and bad odor more than particulate deodorant does.
A composition of the stationary deodorant containing 0.001-10 percent by mass of a compound shown by general formula (1)-(3) or at least one kind of amino compound (a) selected from their salts and 2.0-10 percent by mass of surfactant (b), and a deodorizing method using the composition as the stationary deodorant are provided. In the formula, R1 is H or 1-5C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group, R2 is H, 1-12C alkyl group, or 1-5C hydroxyalkyl group, R3 is 1-5C alkylene group, R4 is 1-5C alkyl/hydroxyalkyl group, R5, R6, R9, and R10 are each H or 2-22C alkyl/hydroxyalkyl group, R7 is H or methyl group, R8 and R11 are each H or alkyl 1-16C group, and m is an integer of 0-2.
