Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce measurement error and to shorten the time required for measurement by improving the pulse signal counting method when a gate is opened, especially the processing when the gate is closed.
CONSTITUTION: The frequency measuring system for burst wave comprises a section 30 generating a short reference unit time, two sets of main gates 41, 42 and counters 51, 52, a memory 70 for writing in a pulse signal count every reference unit time, and a synchronization gate 40 for controlling them. Pulse signals are counted every reference unit time when a gate is opened and written into the memory 70 and the frequency of a wave to be measured is operated based on the count written into the memory 70 and the writing time, i.e., the number of reference unit times.
