Title:
DEODORANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07328104
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain excellent deodorizing action by preparing a deodorant to deodorize a nasty smell of an organic sludge generated from sewage, urine or the like from a culture solution containing a metabolite of a microorganism comprising fungi of pseudomonas putida and pseudomonas fluorescence in the genus of pseudomonas.

CONSTITUTION: This deodorant is prepared from a culture solution containing a metabolite of a microorganism produced by culturing at least one microorganism as selected from the fungi of pseudomonas putida and pseudomonas fluorescence in the genus of pseudomonas. A culture medium herein used is the one for culturing aerobic gram negative bacteria, preferably a composition of polypeptone, yeast extraction, sodium chloride, hydrogen potassium phosphate and a degerming water. The culturing conditions are the introduction of air or oxygen under an agitation, the liquid temperature in the range of 20°C-30°C and the duration for 10-200 hours. This reduces the generation of any malodorous substance and eliminates adverse effect on the post process and possibility of secondary pollution.
