PURPOSE: To achieve a deodoring efficiently by a method wherein a fixed zone generator is disposed in an intake path to an impeller for blowing air through an intake port and ozone unreacted is decomposed with an ozone decomposing filter disposed between the impeller and an exhaust port.
CONSTITUTION: When an impeller 56 is driven to rotate in a direction of the arrow 50 with a motor 57, air outside a fan housing 51 is led into the fan housing 51 passing near an ozone generator 53 through an intake port 52 and air deodored is discharged outside the fan housing 51 passing through an ozone decomposing filter provided at an exhaust port 54 and the ozone unreacted left in the air after deodored is decomposed. This deodoring apparatus can be built in a smaller size and can stirs up the ozone with outside air within the fan housing 51 to accomplish a mutual reaction between odor components and ozone at a high efficiency thereby improving the efficiency of deodoring. Besides, as an ozone generation mechanism is separated from a blowing mechanism thereby preventing complication of a power feeding mechanism of a high voltage for ozone generation.
