Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the method of deodorizatio by organism excellent in deodorizing ability, and capable of eradicating malodor at its source and deodorizing malodor in drain in drained water by organism.
CONSTITUTION: Photosynthesis bacteria are transplanted and proliferated in a gel carrier containing a culture medium and water which consists of a water- soluble silicic compound and vinyl alcohol as main components. This proliferated and immobilized bacteria adjusted to a final pH value of 8.1 to 8.4 is arranged in the drain of an aeration tank 7 and a settlement tank 8. Thus the bad-smell component of the drain is deodorized by bacteria which proliferate in the proliferated in the stabilization material.
