Abstract:
To impart flame retardancy and water resistance by a simple method, to improve productivity and to reduce the emission amount of harmful substances relating to a deodorization honeycomb for the purpose of removing odors.
(1) The deodorization honeycomb in which an absorbent and/or a catalyst is deposited on a honeycomb base material composed of an inorganic material is characterized by using the mixture of water-based resin emulsion and inorganic colloid as a binder, (2) the deodorization honeycomb in (1) is characterized by that the absorbent is active carbon, and (3) the deodorization honeycomb in (1) is characterized by using the active carbon and a metal catalyst together.
