To provide a deodorizer for removing odor generating when replacing a diaper of a patient or treating the patient in a hospital room, the deodorizer more effectively removing odor and being prevented from becoming an obstacle to a worker.

The deodorizer comprises a plate-shaped air sending member having a rectangular air outlet and a plate-shaped air suction member having a rectangular air intake, wherein the air sending member and the air suction member can be moved independently of each other. The deodorizer sends the air from the air outlet of the air sending member to a part where odor is emitted and almost completely removes the odor by suction of air from the air intake of the air suction member. Moreover, by making the air sending member and the air suction member movable, placement which allows a best deodorant effect to be obtained and does not become an obstacle to a worker or the like is possible.
