Abstract:

To provide a deodorizing apparatus having spiral fins, wherein the deodorizing capacity is raised without narrowing a passage and satisfactory correspondence is made even in the case of case of deodorizing gas containing a large amount of steam.

The deodorizing apparatus is constituted of a fin unit 8 formed by spirally winding the fins 7 carrying a catalyst component deodorizing generated gas on the surface thereof around a pipe 15, a sheath heater 12 heating the fin unit 8, and a casing 11 sealed except for an inflow port 9 and an outflow port 10 of the generated gas. Two fins 7 are wound to form the fin unit 8.
