Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber capable of efficiently removing various odor components including basic, neutral and acidic ones over a long period and having antibacterial properties as well.
SOLUTION: The deodorizing composite fiber is made up of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid-modified polyester as the sheath component and polyethylene terephthalate as the core component and contains a tetravalent metal phosphate, a bivalent metal hydroxide and a photocatalyst.
