Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the state of the gas discharged from the treatment apparatus main body of a biological waste treatment apparatus in parallel to the efficient and certain deodorizing treatment of the gas to enhance the reliability related to the offensive smell of the gas discharged to the atmosphere.
SOLUTION: The deodorizing device Y is constituted so as to deodorize the gas to be treated discharged from the treatment apparatus main body X of the biological waste treatment apparatus and provided with a condensation treatment device A a for condensing the steam contained in the gas to water to separate and remove the same and a neutralizing treatment device B for mainly neutralizing the ammonia gas contained in the gas to be treated from which steam is removed and dissolving the neutralized gas in a sulfuric acid solution S to absorb and remove the same. This deodorizing device Y is further equipped with an adsorbing treatment device D for mainly adsorbing the acidic and neutral gases having a residual offensive smell contained in the gas to be treated, from which the steam and the alkaline gas are removed, by adsorption of first and second activated carbon beds 42 and 43 to separate and remove them. The respective treatment devices A, B and D are connected in the passing direction of the gas to be treated in the above mentioned order.
