Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deodorizing feed, consisting essentially of a deodorizing microorganism such as an actinomyces and a deodorizing material, capable of effectively suppressing malodor at a low cost, excellent in simplicity and practically usable in many farm households.
SOLUTION: This deodorizing feed consists essentially of a deodorizing microorganism selected from a yeast such as an actinomyces which is a mixed microorganism of Thermomonospora viridis IFO 12207 with Streptomyces nigrificans IFO 12802 and Streptomyces antibioticus IFO 13271 and a lactic acid bacterium such as Lactobacillus salivarius or Bacillus coagulans or a yeast such as Saccharomyces boulardii and one or more deodorizing materials selected from a yeast treated plant seed, a dried yeast cell wall, humic acid, a defatted bran, zeolite, an organic acid and a food by-product.
