To prevent the damage of the surface of a material to be worked, a blade of a submerged pump or the like by using a soft ceramic as a ceramic to be a base material and fusing a silver based inorganic antibacterial agent on a binder surface between the base materials.
The ceramic to be the base material is made from a ceramic of a softer material than the material to be worked and the silver based inorganic antibacterial agent is fused on the binder surface between the base materials. For example, when the material to be worked is a hardened steel, silica sand (Al2O3+SiO2) having knoop hardness of about 450 is used as the base material. The ceramic (silica sand) consisting of about 71.8 wt.% Al2O3 having about 1.5 mm particle diameter and about 28.2 wt.% SiO2 is molded with the inorganic binder and after being dried, the silver based inorganic antibacterial agent is fused on the inorganic binder at about 700°C. Scratch on the surface of the hardened steel is perfectly prevented and the blade of the submerged pump is also not scratched by using the deodorizing filter for the soft water soluble cutting oil.
