PURPOSE: To enable sufficient deodorizing of a tress of false hair without giving a damage thereto.
CONSTITUTION: A tress of false hair is washed with an aqueous solution of a surfactant and the wet tress of false hair is then dried with hot air. The dried tress of false hair is further treated with hot water and dried with hot air again. In this case, an aqueous solution of an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant or a nonionic surfactant is used as the aqueous solution of a surfactant and the amount of the surfactant is preferably 0.005 to 0.05 g based on 1g tress of false hair. In addition, the hot air drying temperature, the hot water treatment temperature and the hot water treatment time are preferably controlled respectively. to 70 to 90°C, 70 to 90°C and 30 to 60min respectively.
