PURPOSE: To drive a part of a screw to be fixed by releasing a first holding device with a lever into an object before the screw is attached to the object by providing a long coil spring acting on the other end of a main spindle and also providing a clip type lever for releasing the first holding device.

CONSTITUTION: A screw 30 is attached extendedly to the tip of a screwdriver tip 26, the tip of the screw is pressed against the surface of an object 32, and a ball 28 is pressed against an energization of a spring 17 through a lever 14. When a main fixed member 16 is recessed into a first hole 15 of a main spindle 11, the spindle 11 is moved to the forward left side by a recovery extending force of a main compressed coil spring 18, and its front end is collided with the rear end of a movable shank 13. Because there is a specified distance between the rear wall of a long groove 27 of the movable shank 13 and an engaging member 19 of an auxiliary spindle, the movable shank 13 rushes forward until the distance is reduced to zero due to impact by its collision so as to drive the tip part of the screw 30 into the object 32.
