PURPOSE: To obtain a dermal preparation for external use excellent in keratin moisture retention, anti-itching effect and antiinflammtory effect comprising urea, diphenyhydramine and glycyrrhetinic acid.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 0.1-1-%.wt. of diphenhydramine as an antihistaminica and (B) 0.1-10%.wt. of glycyrrhetinic acid as an anti-inflammatory agent are formulated to (C) a dermal preparation containing 1-40%.wt. of urea. Diphenhydramine and glycyrrhetinic acid are used at the ratio of 10/1-1/10. This preparation can further contain a higher alcohol, a water-soluble polymer, a water-soluble thickener and an oily component as other components appropriately and adjusted to pH6-9. Urea is stabilized in the formulation by adding diphenhydramine and glycyrrhetinic acid.
