Abstract:

To provide a dermatological formulation for external use containing ascorbyl tetrahexyldecanoate and an -hydroxy acid.

The dermatological formulation for external use contains (A) ascorbyl tetrahexyldecanoate, (B) an -hydroxy acid, and (C) an elagic acid type compound represented by formula (1) (wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4, which are independently of each other, are 1-20C alkyl groups, 1-20C acyl groups, or like groups; and R5 is H, OH, or a 1-8C alkoxy group).
