To provide a derricking gate which enables the flow rate of a water way to be accurately adjusted by preventing a change in the height of a weir on both the banks of the water way.
Bag bodies 4A and 4B for turning a door body 3 between an erect position U and a fall position D are split into at least two portions in the width direction of the door body 3, and arranged on the sides of both ends of the door body 3, respectively; air supply and exhaust pipes 8A and 8B are connected to the bag bodies 4A and 4B, respectively; and control means (electromagnetic switching valves 14A and 14B, and a control circuit 17) for controlling the supply and exhaust of the air are provided in the bag bodies 4A and 4B, respectively. Thus, when the side of one end 3a of the door body 3 on the side of a greater external force is deflected to a downstream side, a larger quantity of air is supplied to the bag body 4A on this side, so that the bearing power of the bag body 4A can be increased. This prevents the deflection of the side of one end 3a of the door body 3. Consequently, since the height of the weir is not changed on both banks of the water way 1 (the heights of the weir are synchronized with each other), the flow rate of the water way 1 can be accurately adjusted.
