Abstract:
To provide descaling equipment capable of descaling a steel material without involving decrease in working efficiency and significant increase in a working cost in hot working steps.SOLUTION: Descaling equipment comprises: nozzles 11-13 which are arranged to jet high-pressure water in a first direction in a rotating surface including a direction of conveyance of a steel material 200 and a direction of a normal line of a surface of the steel material 200 conveyed in the conveyance direction, in order to jet high-pressure water to the steel material 200; a support shaft 15 extending in a direction orthogonal to the rotating surface and supporting the nozzles 11-13 in such a manner that the nozzles are rotatable in the rotating surface; a rotationally driving device 17 which rotates the support shaft 15; a pressure pump 18 which supplies high-pressure water to the nozzles 11-13; and a control device 20 which controls the rotationally driving device 17 and the pressure pump 18 in such a manner that high-pressure water is jetted to the steel material 200 according to conveyance of the steel material 200 while the nozzles are rotated from a first direction to a second direction in the rotating surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
