PURPOSE: To greatly reduce waveform data transfer time from a CNC during laser processing.
CONSTITUTION: When an output control means 36 receives an output command from a CNC, it reads registration data and waveform data stored in advance in registers 351 to 358 and a memory 34 at the side of an output control circuit 30, and then multiplies a peak value of designated waveform data by a waveform magnification value which is one of registration data and an override value set in a PMC 18 in advance to form a waveform having a desired peak value of waveform data. Then, repetition cycle of waveform data and the number of repetitions are obtained by using a frequency and the number of outputs of registration data. The output control means 36 output an output waveform obtained in this way to a laser oscillator power supply.
