Date Feb. 22, 1996The invention relates to a filter material and to a process for removing ozone from gases and liquids, in which a gas stream or a liquid is brought into contact with a filter material made of an unsaturated cycloolefin polymer or cycloolefin copolymer. The filter material can be used with all ozone-containing gas streams and liquids. Thus, for example, it is used in the removal of the ozone used in sterilization or formed by a copier machine, in addition for removing and detoxifying ozone in liquids.
