Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent an excess flow rate operation exceeding a specification range of a driving motor of a pump by actuating a pump for executing an operation by a variable speed control before actuating a pump for executing a constant speed operation. CONSTITUTION:In a pressure vessel 10, a nuclear reactor core 11 is provided, and a recirculating flow rate flows into the reactor core 11 through internal pumps 1, 2. Plural pieces of pumps 1, 2 are installed in a concentric circle in the periphery of the reactor core 11, and in these pumps 1, 2, the pump 2 and the pump 1 are used for a constant speed operation and a variable speed operation, respectively. The pumps 1, 2 are driven by driving motors 1A, 1B, respectively. The motor 1A is brought to variable speed control by a speed controller 3, but the motor 1B becomes a constant speed operation by direct driving from a power source due to its constant speed operation. In this state, the pump 2 for executing a constant speed operation is actuated after the pump 1 for executing a variable speed operation is actuated. Also, after the pump 2 for executing a constant speed operation is stopped, the pump 1 for executing an operation by a variable speed control is stopped.
