Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify reproduction even if an audio signal encoded by various sampling frequencies at every music is processed. SOLUTION: Incoming multi-channel audio signals are addition/subtraction- mixed by a 6ch mix and matrix circuit 1'. The channel signals are predictingly/ encoded by an encoding part 2'. Predictingly/encoded data are quantized by the number of samples 40, 80 or 160 corresponding to the sampling frequency. Quantized data is compressed at a variable or fixed rate and is packed.
