Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water-base dispersion which requires no solvent, can be easily handled, forms a good coating film as a primer, and improves the coatability and adhesiveness of a molded resin article.
CONSTITUTION: This dispersion for molded resin article is produced by dispersing in water a carboxylated modified propylene-α-olefin copolymer having an m.p. of 120°C or below, an acid value of 10-150, and a number-average mol.wt. of 2,000-20,000, a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 9-19, and a basic substance at least in an amt. of 0.4 equivalent based on the carboxyl groups of the copolymer.
