Abstract:
PURPOSE: To grasp the shape of a rib for reinforcing a flange part which is connected to an exhaust pipe in the end member of a shell in an exhaust gas purifying catalyst converter for a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: For example, the rib 6 which is formed in a projection shaped, an arc shaped, and so on is provided on the outer circumferential part of an annular flange part 2 which is connected to an exhaust pipe, in an end member 1 provided with the flange part 2 and a rote shaped barrel part 5 which extends from the inner circumferential part of the flange part 2 in a sector shape.
