To provide a seal member for a desiccant air conditioner which excels in wear resistance, has little friction between itself and the end face of a desiccant rotor, and prevents the degradation of sealing performance even when it wears.
Each of seal members 30, 31 coming in sliding contact with the end face of the desiccant rotor of the desiccant air conditioner and holding the sliding contact parts in a sealed state is formed in two-layer structure comprising: a buffer layer 41 formed of an elastic body having stress relieving property with partial elastic deformation and partial plastic deformation; and a sliding contact layer 42 formed of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene provided on a surface on the side, brought into sliding contact with the end face of the desiccant rotor, of the buffer layer 41.
