To provide: a design plate that illuminates by transmitting illuminating light through through-holes while preventing foreign matter from entering the through-holes even if each of the through-holes has a minute diameter; its manufacturing method; and a display device.
The design plate 10 is formed with many through-holes 11 communicating in the thickness direction so as to transmit illuminating light through the through-holes 11 to the other face 10b side by radiating the illuminating light from one face 10a side. Each through-hole 11 is filled with a light-guide body 13 capable of guiding the illuminating light. Each sidewall 11a is provided with a locking part 17 for locking the light-guide body 13 in the thickness direction.
