This design data input device includes a drawing reading means 11; a drawing display means 12 for displaying a drawing read; a peripheral line input means 13 for inputting the peripheral line of a building by designating positions on the drawing displayed; a room-parting line input means 14 for inputting room-parting lines by designating positions on the drawing displayed; a room element storage means 15 for storing room elements in association with plan sizes; a room element allocation means 16 for allocating the room elements to each area from among room element candidates extracted from the room element storage means 15 according to the plan size of each area; an opening input means 17 for inputting the opening of each area by designating positions on the drawing displayed; an opening element storage means 18 for storing opening elements in association with the room elements; and an opening element allocation means 19 for allocating opening elements from among opening element candidates extracted from the opening element storage means 18 according to the room elements allocated to each area.
